But what it doesn't do is make them accurate to reality. and that can be useful and even desirable. ![]() What comes back is an exaggerated cartoon version of the physical equipment. Otherwise it's not a model, it's something else. an 1176, plate reverb, Pultec or whatever then IMO it needs to sound like, have the tone, and actual reaction of the physical gear. If we have a plugin that says it's a model of some actual thing. ![]() Of course you can overload them, and some modelled plugs mimic that behaviour. They also don't generate distortion under normal use. They shave some bottom end & tonally have an upper mid slant. I think maybe your looking for something else entirely.Ī real 1176LN doesn't really carry weight. ![]()
