![]() Oh, is Firefox the best alternative to IE? I use it to try to avoid problems with IE. Would sincerely appreciate help in getting these video issues resolved. ![]() Plus, although I was getting videos playing again in YouTube when I first downloaded VLC, I've since removed the player and downloaded it again and now I can't get videos to play in YouTube. When I try to download a show now with VLC, it immediately starts playing with no option to play or save and I can't find any evidence of it in my temporary file. Was told I could resolve this in the Firefox tools menu, but nothing I've tried has fixed this yet. So I would save the mp4 download to disk, watch it at my leisure and easily delete it from my C: drive when finished. If I selected the "play" option I would get the show stored in my temp file where it would be very hard to delete. When I went to download an mp4 for my show before with Realplayer, I would get a gui/window that asked if I wanted to play the file or save to disk. Not seeing an option window to play or save. One problem I have though is with the download process. Windows Defender software helps protect your computer against pop-ups, slow performance, and security threats caused by spyware and other unwanted software by detecting and removing known spyware from your computer. Yes, I have downloaded and am experimenting with VLC. ![]() ![]() Wonder if that codec was also needed for RealPlayer? That's what I used the most. This free RealPlayer software can work with Windows XP, Vista, 7/8/8.1/10 as well as it can also support both 32/64 bit configurations. I've been in other forums and never got an answer that sounds so confident. First of all, thanks so much for your reply. ![]()
